FAQ'S

We always strive to make sure your treatment experience is as comfortable as possible. The appointment can vary based on (1) the type and number of treatments, (2) individual factors (e.g. anxious patients), (3) the required duration of skin numbing (either topical cream or a local anaesthetic injection). The average injectables appointment lasts approximately 30 minutes, which includes consultation, treatment and aftercare. However, more specialist treatments like full face rejuvenation or Endolift® take longer. Occasionally appointments do overrun for various reasons, and we will never rush a treatment so we do apologise if you are not seen at the allocated time.

Each treatment’s discomfort level can vary. Most injectable treatments have an average pain level ranging from minor to moderate. However, in experienced hands, undergoing non-surgical injectable treatments become remarkably easy. We utilise extremely fine needles and cannulas, along with special techniques, to minimise pain. The products we choose include anaesthetic agents to further ease pain. After treating thousands of patients, we note that the average pain rating for popular treatments like non-surgical rhinoplasty or lip enhancement hovers around 3-4/10, according to patients’ experience. For our Endolift® treatment, we first apply local anaesthetic injections, which usually reduce the treatment’s pain level to about 1-2/10 for most patients. For our CO2 laser treatment, we apply local anaesthetic cream 15-30 minutes before and air cooling of the skin during treatment. This significantly reduces discomfort.

All medical cosmetic treatments carry some risks. However, we have selected approved cosmetic products, which we believe to be the best in the industry from our years of experience. We utilise specific techniques as part of our treatment protocols that ensure complications are kept to a minimum. Approximately 80% of our filler treatments are delivered using cannula methods, which further mitigates the risk of vascular-associated complications. Dr Bayati is highly experienced at filler reversal and is specifically sought for this. In the rare event of a filler-related complication, he is able to effectively manage such cases owing to his wealth of background clinical experience and close network of other highly experienced cosmetic doctors. Our in-house ultrasound machine enables us to be able to more accurately target filler for reversal and troubleshoot if any unusual post-procedure developments arise (e.g. unusual swelling after Endolift®).

All payments, minus deposit payments, are taken on the day of treatment. Our payment methods include debit/credit card (including Amex), bank transfer and cash payments. You can also pre-pay for your treatment – please email info@bayaticlinic.co.uk for details.

After treatment, you should avoid makeup or other skin applications for 24 hours. You should also refrain from heavy exercise and extreme heat environments (steam rooms, saunas, sunbeds) for one week. Massage of the area is sometimes encouraged with filler treatments but you will be given details of this after your treatment if this is recommended. Heavy exercise should be avoided for 24-72 hours after treatment. Dr Bayati will discuss specific aftercare instructions with you during your visit. You will receive an email with aftercare instructions relevant to the treatments you have received.

A follow-up appointment is available for you 2-4 weeks after treatment. It is not necessary to attend, however if you feel that a top up or small tweaks are needed (e.g. if you notice a small asymmetry) then you are welcome to arrange this. Our patient co-ordinator is able to schedule this for you via email, WhatsApp or a phone call. Alternatively, we also provide virtual follow ups for those travelling over long distances, in order to avoid a potentially unnecessary visit to the clinic.

We regret that we are unable to allow children into our clinic. For safety reasons, children are not allowed in the treatment room at any time. Bayati Clinic is unable to allow pets in the clinic for hygiene purposes.

Bayati Clinic operates a 5-day cancellation policy. If you wish to cancel or rearrange a booked appointment, we kindly ask you to give us 5 working days’ notice by calling or emailing our booking team. We reserve the right to retain the full booking deposit payment if there is no show or adequate notice is not given.

Dr Bayati will discuss treatment expectations with you at consultation, and will strive to achieve the best result for you. However, treatment results may vary between individuals and there is no guarantee of a desired result with facial cosmetic treatments. This is due to multiple factors, including facial structure, presence of facial asymmetry, skin types, patient age and extent of volume loss. We like to stay in touch with our patients, and if you have any concerns about your healing or cosmetic results, please get in touch with us straight away. We can arrange a virtual or face-to-face follow up for you.

Parking is freely available in the immediate clinic vicinity from 11am onwards Mon-Fri and at anytime on weekends. Between 9-11am pay-and-display parking spaces available locally. The clinic is not within a congestion charge zone. Please visit our Contact Page to find out more.
