FAT PRESERVATION ENDOLIFT • Skin tightening and lifting with Endolift laser, with preservation of facial volume. Skin tightening and lifting, with only selective fat melting, achieves super natural-looking results and preservation of normal facial expressions. The neck line is also tightened and lifted.
(2ml of filler was also used to restore volume in the tear troughs and project the chin forwards to balance the profile).

ULTRASOUND FILLER MAPPING AND REVERSAL • Puffiness after tear trough filler... its a major issue for so many patients. I use ultrasound imaging most commonly in the tear trough region in patients who have historic poorly placed tear trough filler. High resolution ultrasound is able to identify filler product (the dark areas in the above scan images) and these are selectively targeted with precision for hyalase filler reversal. The approach removes any guess work with "blind dissolving" and ensures only minimum use of hyalase.
These clips also illustrate how poorly placed filler looks (as clumps) compared to well placed filler (smooth and integrated into the tissue). I reverse old filler and subsequently re-treat this patients tear trough.

ENDOLIFT FOLLOWED BY FULL FACE REJUVENATION • One of my most challenging cases yet, this patient required 2 rounds of Endolift to reduce lower face fat. The cumulative effect creates noticeable lower face slimming and lifting. This is supplemented by dermal filler to improve the nose-chin profile, enhance lower face contours and restore fullness to areas of volume loss around the mouth. Overall, slimmer, V shaped and lifted outcome.
I initially turned this patient down for Endolift laser due to the anatomic challenges, but she had more belief in me (than I did at the time!) that I was able to create a result for her. I am grateful for her trust 🙏

FILLER CORRECTION OF SURGICAL NOSE JOB • Filler correction of a poor surgical rhinoplasty outcome is the most challenging non surgical injectable treatment. They are risky and technically more difficult due to the altered nose anatomy and tissue scarring. They account for ~ 25% of my NSR treatments.
I would say that this is the single most important filler treatment where ultrasound vascular assessment is absolutely essential to minimise the complication risk... and also the use of a microcannula rather than needle.
Here is a typical case of a deviated, scooped nose bridge and a drooping nose tip.
Overall, still safe to perform but highly dependent on the clinican`s tools and experience. The results often last far longer than a normal nose filler treatment, anywhere between 2-3y.

ENDOLIFT IN YOUR 30`s • It`s very common in my practice for this group of patients. Endolift laser is used mainly for contouring, facial slimming, sculpting and selectively reducing areas of fat creatively to create V shape enhancements, accentuate cheek and jawline contours and reduce double chin appearances. It`s a long term, sustainable option without the need to rely on filler alone.
Some of these patients receive small amounts of filler at follow up (usually 3 months after Endolift) to add the final detail, usually in the volume of 2-3 ml at most.
I was prompted to post this selection of results after a patient who I consulted yesterday saying to me that she couldn`t find many results of Endolift in younger groups.

CORRECTING FAT TRANSFER PROBLEMS • I receive a high number of enquiries about the role of Endolift for melting fat grafted tissue. Yes it works effectively, but the approach needs to be a targeted. Fat transfer tissue looks different to normal facial fat on ultrasound. It feels different and too much of it can create bulky, asymmetric cosmetic appearances. What`s worse is that it is very difficult to surgically reverse.

MALAR BAG / FESTOON CORRECTION • This is a notoriously complex cosmetic entity to treat. Subcutaneous laser treatment with Endolift can be used to effectively shrink this pouch. Ultrasound guidance is the most accurate approach to locate and target the problem area. The treatment takes 15 minutes to perform. Currently this is the least traumatic and the most effective option for malar bag correction. This result is at 3 months.
