Non-Surgical Rhinoplasty

Non-surgical rhinoplasty consists of using hyaluronic acid filler to correct nose contour irregularities and/or a drooping nose tip. The nose bridge is straightened and the tip is lifted, with results similar to those produced by a surgical rhinoplasty.

Hyaluronic acid Dermal Fillers contain molecules that are bound together by cross-links into cohesive gels, meaning they hold their shape when injected into areas they are injected into. This can be used to modify a facial structure. Small amounts of hyaluronic acid filler are placed strategically along the nose bridge to create a straightened appearance. Using this method, nose ‘humps’ can be concealed. If desired, the nose tip can be re-contoured to appear more ‘pinched’ and slightly lifted to produce a subtle slope to the nose profile.

Dermal fillers are an excellent alternative treatment to surgery for improving the cosmetic appearance of the nose. Dr Bayati has a particularly high level of interest and experience in this treatment category and is able to provide greater than expected cosmetic correction for the majority of patients. The benefit over conventional surgical rhinoplasty includes immediate results, minimal downtime and a far lower cost.

Non-surgical rhinoplasty using dermal fillers works extremely well when combined with chin enhancement. At Bayati Clinic, this is offered as part of the “Profile Balancing” package treatment and produces a more complete balanced, proportionate side profile enhancement. Non-surgical rhinoplasty can also be combined with any other dermal filler treatment or as part of the Full Face Rejuvenation.

There can be raised bumps or slight redness from injection points but this usually subsides within a couple of hours. With any injectables there is a chance that bruising and/or swelling may occur. Bruising and swelling will usually appear within 48 hours from treatment. To reduce the risk of bruising we suggest that you avoid omega-3 fatty acid supplements, blood thinners and alcohol for 48 hours prior to your injectable treatments.

As a leading London clinic for injectable dermal filler treatment, we only use the very highest quality hyaluronic acid dermal filler products. Most non-surgical rhinoplasty results will last for 12-18 months and will gradually break down over this time.

Following a non-surgical rhinoplasty, we recommend being careful not apply heavy pressure to the area for the first 7 days. This includes refraining from wearing sunglasses or other spectacles that sit directly on the nose bridge during this period. We also avoid any facial massage treatments for the first 7 days to minimise the risk of pressure compression of the filler. Exercise is best avoided for 24 hours post-treatment to reduce the risk of swelling.
